The comparison of solutions of the shock-ignition of a hydrogen bubble in air using detailed and reduced chemical mechanisms is presented. The reduced chemical kinetics mechanism with 9 species and 12 irreversible reactions is obtained using the G-Scheme. The test shows that the simulation becomes computationally more expensive using the reduced mechanism.
